Prerequisites:

If you are running  Automatic Updates you will need a new version of System Administration (SYST) installed first.

If you are running the updates manually then you must install the latest versions of the RIC Corp Setup Program (SETUP) and RIC Viewer (RICV).

Then download and install a new version of ConCentRICs .Net Migration (NETC). If you already have a copy of Netc dated before this note, you will need to get a new copy. If you have a SetupMig or SetupClient in your RICCORP root directory, you can delete those, since they are no longer in use.

NOTE: If you have already run Netc and converted all your files, you can skip steps 1 thru 3 below and just run Setup.exe in your Riccorp root directory and this will take you to Step 4 below.

 Migration Steps:

1)       Go to your RICCORP\EXE32 directory and run the Netc.exe program.

2)       Take all the defaults and push the OK button.(this may run for an hour)

3)       It will stop and show you the results of the Data Conversions

4)       It will then start Microsoft Installer – Take all the default settings

5)       When the ConCentRICs Setup Program appears it will ask where the Pathfile.sys is located. It should default to the correct value, but it would not hurt to verify that.

6)       It will then ask you to confirm the installation.

7)       At this point, all the latest .Net programs will be downloaded and installed.

8)       Microsoft Installer will announce that it has completed.

The .Net version of the system is ready for use. There should be a ConCentRICs .Net icon on your desk top. Double-click that to start the .Net version of the system.

 To connect Additional Work Stations to the .Net version of the system:

1)       Go to your RICCORP root directory
2)       Run SETUP.EXE
3)       Take all the defaults
