1. General Information:

   Security run through:
   
   Everyone involved with security on this event will be meeting. They will be going through emergency procedures and determining who will be posted where and who will cross cover which areas.

1. Setup:
   1. Setup chairs on the floor of the arena

   2. Interlock the chairs and set appropriate isles

   3. Place trash cans

   4. Setup the smoking area

2. Security:
   1. Unchain all fire doors

   2. Unlock the concession stands

   3. Unlock the dressing rooms

3. Operations - Housekeeping:
   1. Mop the concourse

   2. Sweep out the stands

   3. Clean glass doors

1. F&B Catering:

   Setup a coffee service
   along the North Wall

2. Operations - Engineering:
   1. Turn on the Sound System

   2. Place Microphones

      • Need one at the podium

      • Need one at the piano

      • Have wireless mic available

      • Wire piano into sound system

   3. Do a complete sound check

   4. Place a small spot light on the piano

3. Setup:
   1. Set room as per diagram

   2. Piano must be brought from store room

   3. Piano needs to be tuned

4. Security:
   1. Place a guard at the door

   2. This is a closed event - only open to members of the press

   3. Only those with press passes will be allowed to enter

   4. Place uniformed security on back door where Neil Diamond will enter

5. Operations - Housekeeping:
   1. Turn on the lights to full level

   2. Set out trash cans

   3. Make sure the room is clean

   4. Setup and clean the smoking area
      

1. F&B Catering:

   Setup all the concession stands. We are expecting a sell out crowd so all stations should be fully maned and stocked. Alcahol will be allowed at this event, so have a full complement of beers and wines available. You may also setup the full bar services.

2. Operations - Engineering:
   1. Set the house lights to normal level

   2. Assist with sound check

   3. Check electrical levels for overloads

3. Security:
   1. No one without creditials is allowed in the building before 7:30 pm

   2. Post guards at all the doors

   3. Put extra guards at Stage Door

   4. Place T-Shirt security around the stage

   5. Make sure EMS is in place

4. Operations - Housekeeping:
   1. Spot check all floors

   2. Clean the restrooms

   3. Clean any concession stands that require it

   1. Close the concession stands

   2. Take final inventory

   3. Turn receipts into accounting

   1. Bring down the lights at appropriate intervals

   2. Shut down the spot lights and replace the bulbs

   1. Make sure all ticket holders are off the property

   2. Lock and chain doors when the building is cleared

   3. Do a final sweep to make sure everyone is gone

   3. Attendees are not allowed guests. Each person through the door must have their own invitation.

   4. Provide a personal escort for Neil Diamond when he arrives and leaves this meeting.

   2. Place two pencils at each seat

   3. Make sure room is clean

   Ask any avid follower of Neil Diamond's music and career, and they'll tell you that
   somewhere along the way he made a turn off of a 'Brooklyn Road', went the wrong way down a
   'Memphis Street'. While it may have been a long time since Neil's songs were at the top of
   contemporary charts, for the last few years many of his albums have not met with critical
   acclaim from his fans, either.

   
   
   

   While support from Neil's base of fans has remained steady throughout his changes from
   bubblegum rock to introspective poetry to show-stopping ballads, Neil's most recent
   manifestation has caused the most difficulty with his followers - that of Neil Diamond,
   Living Legend. It would seem that the more Neil Diamond became enmeshed in the Hollywood
   culture, the more Neil Diamond the man became lost in Neil Diamond the pop icon, with
   detrimental results.

   
   
   

   It was brought up by the host of Good Morning America that Neil remarked to a staff
   member that once his tour was over, he would have to take some time off and think about
   what he would do for the rest of his life. Neil tried to dodge this one and deny any
   retirement suggestions, but one wonders whether Neil is marching off down that Blue
   Highway on to greater musical success or whether his leaving this town and rolling down
   that dusty road is his way of saying he's done his bit and is moving on to other things.
   Even if this tour were his last say before he moved on, what a mouthful it is. Like
   George Foreman, Neil heard words like 'washed up' from critics for years, then in a
   surprise upset none of the 'experts' thought would happen, comes along with a piece of
   work that not only shows him to be in as good a form as ever, it shows that he is still
