Getting There:Accessing this application is done by double clicking on the Mass Updates icon in the Scheduling Administration main menu.
Purpose:Used to allow users to pick a group of events, review values set for any item, and make changes as needed.
Security Level: To view - Read Only. To perform maintenance - Normal.
Mass Updates is used to select a group of events, then pick an event item to review, such as Booking Status Code, Attendance, Sales Person, etc. You can then review how the current values are set and make changes as needed.
Clicking on the Mass Updates icon in Scheduling Administration (or Event Administration), brings up the Event Search dialog box. Enter the search date range you want to review and click on the OK button.

This will bring up the Mass Updates dialog box. Click on the down arrow in the Event References combo box to see all of the event items that can be used. For this example, click on Event Manager.

Two additional buttons will appear on the dialog box - the Change this Event Manager and To this Event Manager buttons. These buttons will only appear if the selected event item is a person item. This allows to change all references from one person to another.

Click on the
button. This will bring up the Name and Address Selection dialog box.
In our example, Jennifer Manning, the currently listed Event Manager, has left the organization and we need to replace her. Select her name and click on the OK button.

Notice that the Mass Updates dialog box has been updated with Jennifer Manning's name under the Change this Event Manager button.

Click on the
button. This will again bring up the Name and Address Selection dialog box.We are going to assign Jennifer Canchola as the new Event Manager. Select her name and click on the OK button.

Notice that the Mass Updates dialog box has been updated with Jennifer Canchola's name under the To this Event Manager button.

***IMPORTANT: When you do the last step, which is clicking on the OK button, it will make all assignment changes immediately. It is highly recommended that you look at the events with List of Events first, to verify that it will be changing the events you want reassigned.
