Rate Calculator

Getting There:Accessing this application is done by double clicking on the Rate Calculator icon in the Scheduling Administration main menu.

Purpose:Used to provide a rate quote to a potential client. Can also be used to book an event based on the price quote.
Security Level: To view - Read Only.
NOTE: If the user's security level is lower than the security level on all the booking status codes, then the user will not be able to add a new event.

Rate Calculator is used to obtain a rate amount for any location, equipment or service. You will be able to input all rates into a Rate Quote and produce a report to give a price quote to a client.

Clicking on the Rate Calculator icon in Scheduling Administration, will bring up the Rate Calculator dialog box. You need to enter the dates and times for the time period you want a rate on. You can use the TAB key in any date and time field and the system will insert a default value.

The following is a breakdown of the Rate Calculator dialog box:

The left side column of fields from Effective Date through Out Time are self explanatory.

The Num Sessions field represents the number of performances during the time period.
In the Location combo box, you can select the location you wish to obtain a rate for.
In the Rate Code combo box, you can select the rent type you wish to charge.
The Location field will then show the rental amount.
You can select an item in the Equipment/Services combo box.
The Equip/Serv field will show the rental amount.
In order to add a location, equipment or service to the quote you must obtain the rate first, then push the Add to Quote button.
If you make a mistake, push the Clear Quote button to start over.

Once you push the OK button, the price quote produced during the Rate Calculator session will be displayed (shown in the two screen samples below).
